Discover Native Gardening

Winter sowing is an affordable way to grow native plants at home without the need for a greenhouse. Native plants are adapted to the changing seasons. Many seeds require a cold, moist winter to break dormancy come spring. So, let’s get planting! Join Deep Roots for a hands-on winter sowing workshop. Bring your own recycled containers, like milk jugs or plastic fruit cartons, and we’ll provide the soil, native seeds, and instruction to set you up for success.
